Seniors and Parents! It is THAT time... where you should be preparing to file your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA form is an ONLINE application and goes live on October 1, 2020. As we prepare to get this done, there are a few pieces of information you will need to gather: 1 - Parent/Guardian Tax return for 2019 2 - Student Tax return for 2019 (if you filed one) 3 - Social Security Numbers 4 - A list of your potential colleges and trade schools HAVE NO FEAR! The online application is NOT super difficult and WE ARE here to help you! The Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) has put together a fabulous presentation about financial aid in general and the application process. As you prepare to file, give their video a watch.
