The Hugh O’Brien Youth (HOBY) Leadership award is given to a rising junior and chosen by Nokomis staff. HOBY stresses volunteerism, integrity, excellence, diversity, and community partnership. Emphasizing these key organizational values, HOBY aims to motivate and empower young adults as they tap their leadership potential. Through understanding and action, students learn to make a positive difference within our global society.
This year, the HOBY award goes to Chase Peterson!
Chase will attend a virtual state leadership seminar June 11-13 as Nokomis’ student ambassador. We are very proud of you, Chase, and are so excited to see what your future holds!

Samantha has completed the Nokomis Work Experience Program at Pet Pro in Bangor! This experience increased her confidence and understanding of animals. She will be attending Husson for her BS in Nursing. 🎉 Congrats, Sam!
