You are receiving this notice to inform you that the following pesticides; with trade names of Pendulum CS Herbicide, EPA registration number of 241-416, Chaser 2 EPA registration number 34704-930, Drive XLR80 EPA registration number 7969-272 and Finale XL T&O registration number 7969-464 are scheduled to be applied on Friday, 8/2/2024 on all athletic fields on both sides of the road at Nokomis High School at 291 Williams Road and 266 Williams Road (approximately 200,000 sf) . This is being done to help manage clover, weeds and crabgrass. Re-Entry can occur once the spray has dried, no earlier than Sunday August 4th. This notice complies with our school's Integrated Pest Management Policy and in compliance with Maine Board of Pesticides Control Regulation CMR 01--026 Chapter 27. This is a reminder that tomorrow night, May 21st the annual district budget meeting will be held at 7:00 in the high school gym. Please come and learn about the budget.

RSU 19 will have a one hour delay on Friday, April 5th.

Due to the intensity of the pending storm , we are canceling school for tomorrow Thursday, April 4th. The central office will also be closed.

The Etna Dixmont School has lost power this morning, Central Maine Power is on the way; however, we may need to dismiss school at 12:30 today if the power is not restored by then. We will send another message when we know if the power is back on.

Due to the pending storm, Sebasticook Valley Elementary School will have and early dismissal today at 12:45.

Due to the pending storm, RSU 19 will be dismissing at 12:30 today from the middle and high school and 1:00 from EDS and Somerset. We apologize for the inconvenience.

RSU 19 will be closed due to the pending inclement weather on Wednesday, January 10th.

All RSU 19 schools will be open and operate on a normal full school day schedule on Thursday 12/21/23. Thank You

Somerset Elementary and Etna Dixmont Schools will be closed on Wednesday, December 20th. All other schools will have a 2 hour delay.

Because of continued widespread power outages in our communities, there will be a two hour delay for Sebasticook, Somerset, and the middle and high school tomorrow Wednesday, December 20th.
