RSU 19 FOOD SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
MEAL DELIVERY SCHEDULE
March 22, 2021
As the students started returning to in-school learning, we asked parent to re-register if they needed the meal deliveries to continue or if they needed to start receiving meals.
A very low number of families re-registered so we had to change the delivery schedule to Wednesday only. We cannot delivery on both days so it will be Wednesday only for meal delivery. This will start this week.
Meal pick up will continue as usual. Parent always have the option to arrange for pick up service for the students that are still remote.
If you want to continue and have not already re-registered, PLEASE, go to the District webpage and fill out the meal survey.
You can contact us, with any question or concerns, at 355-3613 or dleighton@rsu19.net or lhayes@rsu19.net

MEAL DELIVERY
REMINDER
This is a reminder notice for families that want to continue, or start, to receive home deliveries. You must go to the District webpage and re-register your survey information. The original survey has been closed.
With so many students returning to in-school learning, we need to know if you have anyone, 18 and younger, still at home that still needs remote meal delivery. These are complimentary meals at no charge to families. The more remote students that receive meals, the better for our program.
Please let us know how we may be able to help. You can contact us at 355-3613 or dleighton@rsu19.net with any questions.
Thank You

Message from the Maine Department of Education
The Maine Broadband Coalition has launched a statewide internet speed test mapping initiative. The goal of the “Get Up To Speed” initiative is to gather data from across the state to generate the most comprehensive map of both the presence and quality of internet in Maine to date.
Residents are being asked to help the initiative by taking this less-than-a-minute test to map their own speed through the Maine Broadband Coalition’s website. We strongly encourage you to share this link with your community, so that we can get the most accurate map possible.
The Maine Broadband Coalition will aggregate, document, and visualize the speed testing information to provide users and state officials with up-to-date service maps. Participants can view their results (while personal information remains confidential) and watch the public map of Maine grow in real time.
A crucial next step
The new speed testing initiative is the crucial next step in ensuring the delivery of broadband throughout the state and will help local, regional, and state leaders develop projects and steer investments to the places that need it most. This map, along with other data collected, will help inform where the bond funding, approved by Maine voters in July, can have the most impact.
