Students in environmental studies class visited our local Great Blue Heron rookery with Maine Wildlife Biologist, Danielle D'Auria to help identify, measure and tag heron nest trees. We helped identify 33 nest trees with a total of 39 nests!

Several of our students had the opportunity to travel to Monson Arts on a beautiful October day. They toured a gallery exhibit, met with artists, and took a walk on the Appalachian Trail. Many thanks to Monson Arts and to our adventurous students!

Nokomis came out on top with a spectacular victory over Belfast with a final score 2-1. Later in the half Burke would score her second goal off a penalty stroke to make it 2-0. Belfast later in the second half would finally find the net after not being able to score on Nyman in the first half. Great Job! #GoWarriors
