Open House for Grade 5 will be on August 25th and Grades 6-8 on August 26, both nights from 5:30 to 7PM.
There will be a Welcome on both nights in the Performing Arts Center starting at 5:30, after which students and families will be invited to visit their classrooms from 6 to 7PM. Thank you and we look forward to having you all back in the building!

Hello, NRMS families! Your child's schedule is ready to view through the Infinite Campus platform. If you have never used Infinite Campus, you will need to email the technology department at: tech@rsu19.net The technology department will send account information to you within a few business days. If your first login is during our annual back to school window, users will be prompted to complete their "Existing Student Registration" Please complete the return to school electronic paperwork. Once you complete the electronic update, you will be able to view your child's schedule. Again, if you have issues, please reach out to the technology department for assistance.
Nokomis Regional Middle School will be hosting our 6-8th grade Informational Meeting/Open House on August 26 from 5:30 to 7 PM. From 5:30 to 6, there will be an informational meeting in the Performing Arts Center followed by the opportunity to visit teachers and classrooms from 6-7PM.

A reminder that Nokomis Regional Middle School will be hosting parent conferences tonight, April 7(3-7PM), and tomorrow, April 8(3-6PM). I want to let you know that the Scholastic Book Fair will be open both nights in our library. Additionally, Darling Ice Cream(Monday Only) and Silverton BBQ(both nights) trucks will be set up in the parking lot in front of the school. All proceeds from the Darling Ice Cream will benefit the NRMS/HS library so please swing by both trucks to support our school and two amazing local organizations. And don't forget to stop by the Library for an excellent selection of reading materials!
Nokomis Regional Middle School will host conferences on April 7 (3 to 7PM) and April 8 (3 to 6PM). Darling's Ice Cream truck and Scholastic Book Fair will be present with other food options potentially coming. These conferences are extremely important as this is the first meeting to begin the transition to high school. The 8th grade team sent home letters today with more information so please be looking for that to set up a time to meet with your child's homeroom teacher.

Students' work will be on display in the halls and in classrooms where they will share and discuss the work they have been doing in class. Good morning, this is Mr. Page, principal at Nokomis Regional Middle School. This morning the building went into a "shelter in place" for approximately thirty minutes due to a student incident. In order to protect the student's privacy, students were asked to stay in their classrooms and grade level wing areas. There was no imminent threat to students or the building and when the situation was over, students moved freely about the building. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

Our students will be taking the Winter NWEAs as part of our Tier III mid year progress check according to the following schedule: Grade 5 (February 4&5), Grade 6 (February 3&4), Grade 7 (January 30&31) and Grade 8 (January 29&30) Thank you for all your support and please encourage your child to do their best!

The Class of 2029 is having a fundraiser on Dec. 18th called the Maine Sampler from 8:30 - 11:00. Students will be selling Maine themed goods. It will be held in the NRMS gym and the public is welcome to come, support our students and get some items knocked off your Christmas list!
