March 30, 2020
The staff and I continue to appreciate and applaud all you are doing to support your children and their learning at home. Again, I encourage you to reach out, ask questions, and let us know how we can guide you.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31st, packets will be delivered to students that will support learning and engagement for the next two weeks. It is expected that all students in grades k-4 read, respond to their reading in writing, complete activities on MobyMath or practice their basic math facts, and participate in a physical and a musical activity. Teachers are regularly reaching out to all their students through Bloomz, Google Classroom, email, ClassDojo, etc. If you have not made contact with your child’s teacher, please let me know.
We will be moving towards primarily online assignments but also know that many of you do not have internet at home. If online learning is impossible, be sure to contact us.
In order to support physical distancing, the school office is closed. If you have a question or need assistance, please reach out using the following steps:
- Contact your child’s teacher, if you have further questions then
- Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if I do not respond before 6:00 PM then
- Call or text my cell phone at 207-356-9917 between the hours of 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Be sure to identify who you are and provide a number where you can be reached if you text or the call goes to my voice mail.
Meals continue to be provided to our students. If you have not signed up and would like to take advantage of this, please click on the following link and complete the form. Remember, someone must physically be there to get the meals from the bus/van drivers.
I encourage everyone to go outside and play. Just remember to stay physically distanced and avoid gatherings/contact with those who do not live in your immediate household.
Again, your support, patience and concern for each other are so appreciated.
