SVES would like to remind parents that today is an early release day. Students being picked up will be dismissed around 11:00. We ask that parents picking up your child arrive around 10:50. We will be having a 4th grade graduation ceremony today, so any parent arriving prior to 10:50 will need to park in the lower parking lot if there are no available spaces in the normal parent pick up line. . The early bus will leave the school today around 10:45 and regular bus students will be dismissed at 11:30. If you are attending the fourth grade graduation ceremony today, you can park at the curb in front of the school or in the lower parking lot. We ask that parents wait to enter the school until 8:45 for the event. You must wear a mask to attend the event and each student may only have two adults attend. If you have any questions or need the link to the event, please feel free to call SVES at 368-4592.

Thank you to our parents and family members of SVES for making our pick-up procedures in the afternoon run so smoothly. As the weather gets nicer, we know that it is tempting to get out of your vehicles to wait in the sunshine for your child during afternoon pick up time. We would like to request that you please remain in your vehicles while in the parent pick-up car line so you are prepared to pull ahead if the staff outside directs you to do so. If you are the parent of a PK or K child and need to get out of your vehicle to assist your child into a booster seat, or with buckling, please wait until you see your child exiting the school to do so. Thank you again for your help in continuing to make afternoon student pick-up time run so smoothly.

This is a message for family members of students that attend SVES. We want to thank you for all that you are doing this year to help keep our school open and safe for students. We would like your help continuing to make morning drop off as safe as possible. Please remember to drive slowly through the drop off area in the morning and to pull all the way up the walkway area when you drop off, so other parents can pull in behind. Please try to have your student(s) exit the vehicle on the passenger side, as it is closest to the walkway. We would also like to remind parents to continue to monitor your child(ren) each morning and keep them home if they are not feeling well. If you are unsure if your child(ren) is feeling well enough to come to school, we ask you to err on the cautious side and keep them home. Thank you for your help keeping our school safe for all students.

Now that the winter season is here, SVES would like to remind families of the morning parent drop off procedures. If you are dropping off a PK student, please park in a regular parking space and walk your student up to the cafeteria door. We would request that PK parents not park along the curb where other students are being dropped off. For all other K-4 students being dropped off, please pull up along the curb as far as you are able. Please avoid dropping off your child at the corner where the orange cones are placed. Thank you so much for your continued support and cooperation this year.
