Message from RSU 19 Food Services There are many families that had a free or reduced lunch benefit last year that have not returned a lunch application for this year. Those statuses have ended. If you have not submitted an application for this year already, you are now full pay. Once the summer program extension ends, all meals will have to paid. The school district relies on these free/reduced percentages because it directly effects Title 1, Title 2 and Title 4 funding for this year. It effects the rates for internet access and so much more. Please get a lunch application from your child’s school, fill it out and return it as soon as you can. We need these returned quickly. Please call David Leighton at 355-3613 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or to check your child’s lunch status. Thank You

We don’t have all the details put together yet; however, we’re busy planning for how we can safely get our students back to school. Please stay tuned for any requests for information, like surveys, that we put out to gather our own information from our families. We know that other groups in Maine have asked you for information and we may need this information as well. Thank you and take care,

As part of the Governor's "Stay Healthy at Home" mandate, we are extending our school closure until May 1st. The Maine CDC is advising that additional social and physical distancing measures are needed to slow the spread of COVID 19 to save lives and improve the ability of the healthcare system to respond. During this time we strongly urge you to follow the advice of public health officials in order to protect the health and well being of our community. This is a challenging time for everyone and we are committed to providing as much support as we can...
Good morning, As we enter the next phase or our instruction, we have the following update regarding meals and instructional materials for Tuesday March 31st. As we will be delivering various educational materials for identified students along with the daily meals, our bus schedule will be different from the regular food service delivery. Not all families will get instructional materials on Tuesday, only those that have been in contact with us and are in need. We hope to stay on our regular meal delivery schedule as much as possible; however, there will be delays. For the safety of our staff and students we will not be making any personal contact during these deliveries. We will not be picking up the previous educational materials as these were skill building and support assignments. Please continue to practice social distancing, hand washing, and other safety habits related to the Covid-19 virus. We wish you all the best in these trying times.

Good morning, It is with the safety of our students and communities in mind that RSU#19 will be extending the school closure and remote learning days until after April vacation. Students will return on April 27th. April vacation will remain as it is from April 20th to April 24th. We will still provide meals to our families through the Summer Feeding program with delivery on our school buses. If we make any changes in this process we will communicate directly to you through our regular messaging systems. We understand the hardship this places on our families; however, the ultimate safety of the entire school system is at risk if we do not continue to distance ourselves from each other.
Good evening, this message is for those families that have signed up for district meal delivery. We will begin delivery tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17th between 11:00 and 12:15. Each drop off time will become more specific as we update each food run. The number of meals on each run will vary as we start this process. This is just like the first day of any of our bus runs. We require someone to be at the drop off point that you have identified for us to use for your family to receive the meal or meals. If you would like to be added to the district meal delivery, please fill out the form that is on our website or call the school your student attends. As always, make sure your address and phone number are up to date. Please be patient as we start the food delivery procedure.
