March 20, 2020
Dear Parents/Caregivers:
We have all just completed a very long, stressful first week of school closure which included an announcement today that we will now be out of the building through April 26th.  This brings new challenges for all our families and staff, but we are ready to support you wherever we can.
As you know, the teachers have been reaching out to you and your children regularly.  Please let them or me know what you are struggling with.  The staff will be virtually meeting with me beginning next week.  Your concerns will be shared, and we will work to provide answers to your questions.  Please continue to reach out to them. Some families do not have internet access or limited phone connections/data plans.  If online learning is not possible at your home, be sure to contact us.
In order to support physical distancing, the school office will be open to phone calls on a limited basis.  If you have a question or need assistance, please reach out using the following steps:
1. Contact your child’s teacher, if you have further questions then

2. Call the school office at 207-992-0735 between 8:30 AM and 12:00 noon, if your call is not answered then

3. Email me at if I do not respond before 6:00 PM then

4. Call or text my cell phone at 207-356-9917 between the hours of 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM.  Be sure to identify who you are and provide a number where you can be reached if you text or the call goes to my voice mail.
Meals continue to be provided to our students. If you have not signed up and would like to take advantage of this, please click on the following link and complete the form. Remember, someone must physically be there to get the meals from the bus/van drivers.

This weekend the weather is predicted to be colder, but the sun is supposed to shine.  I encourage everyone to go outside and play with your children. Exercise, sunshine and fresh air are important and may help relieve some of the stress we are all feeling.  Just remember to stay physically distanced and avoid gatherings/contact with those who do not live in your immediate household.
Again, your support, patience and concern for each other are so appreciated.
